To comply with warranty, Summit requires this chromatography column to be supported by 2 Chain Clamp – ChemChix Supply Co. and a top mounted Cork Clamp – ChemChix Supply Co.. Summit recommends applying a thin rubber strip (the length of the chains contact) under the chain clamps (not shown) to maximize grip.
For this larger size column, Summit requires applying weight to the stand base such as a sand bag or something equivalent of 50 lbs+ (something to offset the weight of your fluids)
Lab stands , clamps and sandbags are not included.
